# Daily Play Call

> Daily Play Call is a free daily NFL play-calling game. Each day you call every play of a real fourth-quarter NFL drive and each call is graded by win probability against the best available call and the real head coach.

Free, no account, no ads. One new daily drive at midnight US Eastern time; past daily drives and every close final drive of the current NFL season can be replayed for free.

Situations are real NFL drives (2022–2026 seasons): team tied or trailing by up to 8 with 20 seconds to 4 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Play results are drawn from real NFL plays of the same call type from a similar field position late in close games.

Calls: inside run, outside run, QB sneak, quick out, short middle, screen, deep sideline, deep middle, play action, spike, kneel, field goal, punt; tempo when the clock runs: hurry up, huddle, bleed clock, timeout. Offense only, no defensive calls.

Grades: green (best call, within 1.5 win-probability points), yellow (within 3.5), orange (within 7), red (more). Final score is the share of typical NFL play-callers beaten on the same snaps. Drives are rated Easy, Medium or Hard; the daily schedule mixes them.

Data: nflverse play-by-play and win probability; FTN charting via nflverse (CC BY-SA 4.0). Independent fan project, not affiliated with the NFL. College football drives are planned, not live yet.
